This month we've been exploring Clarity together.
Not the kind that comes from thinking harder.
The kind that quietly changes how you move through your life.
July brought six airplane flights, two wonderful family adventures, and memories I'll treasure forever.
Roy and I spent one weekend exploring the Twin Cities with my daughter and son-in-law—discovering local history, wandering through a beautiful glass conservatory, and sharing wonderful food, laughter, adventure, and conversations that filled my heart.
The following weekend, we were in Seattle with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, enjoying a butterfly garden, riding a carousel, and simply delighting in being together.
Like every family, we had moments to navigate.
What was different was me.
Years ago, I would have spent those weekends making sure everyone else was okay and come home needing days to recover.
This time, I noticed when I was about to disappear into taking care of everyone else.
I paused. I checked in with myself. I cared for myself, too.
And something beautiful happened.
We enjoyed each other more.
When I came home, clarity invited me somewhere even deeper.
My body.
My shoulders had been living up around my ears. Burning inflammation in my neck and shoulders unlike anything I'd experienced before. Then I got really sick.
At one point I looked around and laughed.
Mercury Retrograde. A 30-Day Soul's Journey dedicated to Trust. Daily intentions. Powerful spiritual practices.
Something had to give.
So I did what I've learned to do over the last thirty years.
I reached out.
With the support of trusted guides and practitioners, I uncovered an old survival strategy I didn't realize I was still carrying: pressure.
Together, we uncovered what was ready to be seen, released what no longer belonged, and supported my body in learning something new.
Peace. Not just an idea. An experience.
Looking back, I realize July wasn't about perfect trips or getting sick.
It was about practicing what I've been sharing with you all month.
Pausing.
Checking in.
Receiving as well as giving.
Trusting that I don't have to carry everything alone.
That's what clarity looks like in real life.
If your heart is longing for more clarity, confidence, trust, or peace, August is filled with beautiful opportunities for us to be together.

Thirty years ago, I began a journey to heal.
Today, I have a feeling...
The best part of the journey is just beginning.
